Want the latest GPUs from NVIDIA? Here's where to find them.

#Tech

NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3070, RTX 3080, and RTX 3090 graphics cards are here. Here's how to make sure you don't miss out.

NVIDIA's RTX 30-series graphics cards (GPU) are rolling out, with the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 already released as we await the RTX 3070. These Ampere-powered GPUs deliver a significant performance boost over RTX 20-series cards. Thanks to competitive pricing, they're expected to crush the list of best graphics card options. Availability has been poor so far, so much so that NVIDIA apologized for a messy launch, but it's still good to know where to look to get your hands on these cards as stock rotates in and out.

Where to buy the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080

The NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPU was the first 30-series card up for grabs from NVIDIA. It's now officially released at a price somewhere around $700, though it's already sold out essentially everywhere. If you didn't manage to get your hands on the first wave of cards, don't fret. You can check availability at NVIDIA's site, or you can head to individual retailers.

Best Buy currently has RTX 3080 options from NVIDIA (Founders Edition), ASUS, EVGA, MSI, PNY, and Gigabyte, though stock has been cleaned out following the launch. Be sure to check back often for fresh stock.

Amazon has a page ready for RTX 3080 GPUs from PNY, Zotac, MSI, EVGA, Gigabyte, and ASUS, though stock here is sold out at the time of writing. You can sign up for notifications by clicking through to individual GPU pages.

Newegg also has RTX 3080 cards, though any models that were made available at launch are sold out at time of writing. Check out models from Gigabyte, EVGA, Zotac, MSI, and ASUS and sign up for restock notifications so you can jump on cards as soon as they're available.

The NVIDIA RTX 3080 is positioned as an option for PC enthusiasts looking for consistent frame rates at a 4K resolution. NVIDIA claims the RTX 3080 is twice as fast as the previous RTX 2080. It has 8,074 CUDA cores and 10GB of GDDR6X VRAM. This is the card to get if you plan on gaming at 4K or 1440p. Have a look at our guide to NVIDIA RTX 3090 vs. RTX 3080 vs. RTX 3070 performance for a better idea about how these GPUs stack up.

The RTX 3090 is NVIDIA's flagship GPU, set to take over for the Titan RTX that's comparatively about 50% slower. It's an enormous hardware piece that can push an 8K resolution at 60FPS thanks to 24GB of GDDR6X VRAM, 10,496 CUDA cores, and a 384-bit memory interface. If you want the best and have the budget, this is the right choice. Just be sure your PC is ready to handle the system requirements.
