Amazon announces Accelerate virtual conference for small biz. On September 1-3, Amazon will host Accelerate. This free three-day virtual event will feature Amazon executives, current sellers, and independent online selling experts, sharing ideas for how small businesses can thrive on Amazon. With more than 60 sessions, attendees can choose from breakout sessions, panels, lightning talks, and live Q&A.

Sendle introduces seamless delivery for Etsy sellers. Sendle, a carbon-neutral shipping carrier, has announced a new Etsy integration to help ease shipping challenges fueled by the coronavirus pandemic. Sellers can now connect their Etsy store directly to their Sendle dashboard to quickly create shipping labels and access pricing. Sendle is also the first 100-percent carbon-neutral carrier in the U.S. and offsets the emissions from every package it delivers by purchasing carbon offsets and supporting major reforestation projects.

eBay partners with LendingPoint for seller financing. eBay Seller Capital is a new program with LendingPoint that will help individuals and businesses obtain financing, providing eligible sellers with a fast, flexible, and transparent funding experience. During the initial launch, qualified sellers may receive up to $25,000 in funding in as little as one business day. eBay Seller Capital is rolling out as a pilot program with select sellers and will be available to others in the U.S. later this year.

Facebook announces new Accelerator programs. Facebook is launching two new Accelerator programs — Connectivity and Commerce — for start-up entrepreneurs. The 12-week programs will be entirely virtual with a focus on product themes and exploration of collaborative partnerships. The Facebook Accelerator program provides 1:1 mentorship from Facebook employees, training on Facebook’s approach to products and businesses, and access to a global network of start-up peers, successful founders, and industry experts. Applications for both programs are now open.

Etsy Ads introduces additional charts and graphs. Etsy has added advanced charts for Etsy Ads campaigns so that sellers can track ad performance over time. Choose a specific date or set a custom date range to see your daily views and clicks, as well as sales and earnings.

Searchspring acquires 4-Tell to boost ecommerce personalization. Searchspring has acquired 4-Tell, an artificial-intelligence-driven personalization platform (branded as Smart Commerce). The deal helps Searchspring become a single destination where merchandisers can orchestrate personalized shopping experiences in real-time. Searchspring plans to roll out its new personalization features in October.

Massively launches “Mat by Massively” for conversational marketing. Massively.ai has announced the launch of MAT by Massively, built off Massively’s Conversational Marketing platform, to help businesses to build and deploy custom AI-driven chatbots without coding. The new product launches with a bot-development toolkit open to all users, including those with no programming experience. Businesses who build chatbots using MAT by Massively can provide their shoppers with a conversational experience with AI and natural language processing.

Etsy Payments expands to seven new markets. Etsy has completed the expansion of its payments platform in seven new markets. Sellers in Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, South Africa, Turkey, and the Philippines can now offer multiple payment options, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Etsy gift cards, and all major credit cards. Sales made through Etsy Payments are eligible for Etsy’s Seller Protection Policy.

Webgility announces partnership with QuickBooks point-of-sale. Webgility, an ecommerce automation platform, has announced integration with QuickBooks Point of Sale 19.0, allowing sellers to sync and manage their retail and ecommerce sales channels from a single place, reducing administrative overhead and keeping inventory counts up to date.

MasonHub introduces Returnly integration to automate online returns. MasonHub, a fulfillment technology and services provider, announced its integration with Returnly, a leader in digital return experiences and post-purchase payments. The integration enables clients to automate and generate refunds within seconds, saving employees hundreds of hours of manual work. The integration also supports automated exchanges, an important component of reverse logistics and customer experience.

eBay announces Sellerbration. eBay is throwing a 25th Anniversary “Sellerbration,” an online party honoring the sellers who have powered the platform since 1995.
