ThreatConnect provider of the industry’s only intelligence-driven security operations platform, announces the hiring of Bryan Hauptman as Chief Revenue Officer.

Reporting directly to CEO, Adam Vincent, Hauptman will drive the overall productivity, effectiveness, and revenue generation of the ThreatConnect sales and customer success organisation. This new role for ThreatConnect represents a major milestone in its future growth plans.

A highly accomplished sales executive, Hauptman joins ThreatConnect with 20 years of experience and a track record in building and leading cross-functional teams.

Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Datto where he led the company from $35 Million in revenue in 2014 to $400 Million in revenue in 2018, and an eventual sale for $1.8 Billion.

During that time, the sales team grew from 30 to nearly 600 people worldwide. As well, his Customer and Partner Success teams at Datto numbered more than 50 people across the US, EMEA, and APAC. Before Datto, Hauptman was Vice President of Sales at Sungard Availability Services.

Adam Vincent, ThreatConnect CEO said, “As part of our evolution, we want to ensure that customer value and revenue are tied tightly together. With Bryan’s impressive background, experience, and technology sales success, he is a great fit for implementing a holistic strategy for revenue creation. We are excited to have him on board.”

Hauptman will be overseeing the company’s next phase of growth. After years of success in the North American and UK markets, the company is expanding its global presence with efforts in Australia already underway, the Middle East, and Latin America coming along.

The company expects to significantly increase its channel strategy including its MSSP and OEM relationships. Plus, ThreatConnect recently announced a strategic partnership with RSA that will broaden its market share worldwide.
